What is the Ironworkers’ Gladiator
Pre-Apprenticeship Program?
We offer a FREE Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program that will introduce you to the concrete reinforcing steel trade. It’s the first step in entering the Iron Workers’ 2-year Registered Apprenticeship Program. Earn while you learn!
- Employment starting at $18 - $20 per hour! (based on location).
- 1st 6 months @ 65% of Journeyman’s wage scale.
- 2nd 6 months @ 75% of Journeyman’s wage scale.
- 3rd 6 months @ 85% of Journeyman’s wage scale.
- 4TH 6 months @ 95% of Journeyman’s wage scale.
- Paid medical benefits with optional dependent coverage.
- All required tools and PPE will be provided for the training.
- Job interviews with contractors after completing the course.
- Earn while you learn with no college debt.
- Gain entry to 2-year registered apprenticeship.

- After you are referred to a contractor, every hour you work gives you On the Job Training (OTJ) credit towards completion of your apprenticeship.
